But when they stumble upon a hidden stash of WWII gold bars linked to the legendary Yamashita’s Gold, their peaceful getaway turns into a deadly fight for survival.
Ray’s protective instincts kick in as ruthless mercenaries descend on the cabin, led by Chad—Ray’s former Army buddy turned traitor. With nowhere to run, Ray and his kids must fortify the house and fight back, discovering newfound strength as a family while facing overwhelming odds.

Director
Over the last nine years Hayden Mason has racked up thousands of hours working on various productions; from the smallest indy films to the biggest (Academy Award nominated) blockbusters. His unique situation has allowed him to have hands-on working experience in nearly every department in movie production, making him a valuable asset at the helm.
On top of Hayden’s working experience he has also directed over a dozen shorts and commercials as well as his debut feature film “False Flag.”
Producer
Laura Ly Mason has built her career around the successful handling of all of a film production’s logistical intricacies. In the military, the fighters on the front line are supported by a massive network of vital supply lines bringing food, gas, ammunition, and anything else necessary to win battles. In the film-world the same is true. From handling SAG contracts, to acquiring the proper equipment, to ensuring we’re on time and on budget, Laura Ly oversees it all.
But don’t let all the numbers-talk fool you! She is well balanced by her ability to provide creative ideas and support to the production as well.
With extensive experience coordinating in the commercial world for massive brands like Capital One and ESPN, and an impressive resume coordinating and producing films with budgets ranging in the millions of dollars, Laura Ly is an invaluable addition to the Gold Rush leadership.
Producer
Stephen Beehler is a creative entrepreneur with roots in filmmaking and technology. In 2018, Beehler launched RoleCall, a film and theatre production logistics software, and began producing feature films under the RoleCall banner as well.
As of 2023, Beehler has produced 8 feature films and also works as a line-producer and production accountant for hire.
He recently opened Limelight Theater, an indie- focused theater in Atlanta for indie filmmakers and theatre producers to exhibit their works.

Kim Sandwich
Miranda
Miranda grew up basically without a father. Between several deployments and constant training cycles, he was never really around. She could have let that consume her, but instead she somehow connected all the dots and capitalized in emotional intelligence well beyond her years. She’s street smart and book smart, and tough as nails. She is the key and the catalyst to Ray’s emotional arc.
Brandon
Brandon flew in under the radar. Ray doesn’t know Miranda is dating anybody and Brandon catches him off guard. Brandon is coming up on the end of his fourth year in the Army (mechanized grunt in the 3rd ID) and is going to get out, go to school, and begin his career. He’s got a deep sense of honor and loyalty and has no problem stepping in and taking up arms when his girlfriend and her family are in danger.
